History

Bioster company started the activity in 1980 with a little sterilization facility closer to Bergamo with the aim of offering an answer to the growing request of service coming from the continuously expanding market of medical devices.

The companies involved in this field were looking for a reliable partner to whom entrust and delegate the last critical and fundamental passage of their production process before the sale, the sterilization process, which was, up to that time, run internally by the medical devices producers, in a non industrial way and without all the related technical methods and references.

The outsourcing sterilization company was able to offer high level of quality, service and flexibility to support and work as consultant for the medical devices producers and drive them inside the world competitive market becoming more and more complex and organized.

The company Bioster has worked and developed during these thirty years considering this collaboration and support view; flexibility and extreme attention to the technical and normative dynamics assured to the Italian company, during the years, a growing development and success, thanks also to a strategic positioning of the different facilities all over the Italian market, offering an efficient service, taking care of innovations, answering and anticipating the demand.

The awareness and the solidity coming from the strong position in the Italian market allow Bioster to concentrate investments abroad in new emergent markets, starting from 2003. Today Bioster is present in the Czech Republic and Slovak market with two important facilities, born thanks to agreements with multinational medical devices companies.

These realities integrated Bioster inside the economic heart of Europe, helping the company to get new markets and customers, impossible to achieve from Italy, and including the same among the first world companies for the industrial and hospital sterilization.

The research for new markets pushed Bioster to expand also outside the European borders, with the near opening, in 2009 of the first outsourcing sterilization company in Egypt, a country well known as traditional entry and passing door for all the middle east market.
